China’s Textile, Garment Exports Fall 8.79% In June

MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) - China’s textile and apparel exports fell 8.79 percent to $233.92 billion in June, 2015, according to China customs data.

While, exports of textile yarn, fabrics and related products saw an increase of 2.25 percent to $94.68 billion, exports of clothing and accessories fell 3.09 percent to $158.81 billion in the month.

During the first six months of the year, January’15-June’15, the country’s textile and apparel exports were down $20.87 billion or 0.89 percent at $2315.48 billion. Textile exports accumulated to $917.2 billion, down 1.72 percent. Clothing exports during the six months were down 1.17 percent to $1417.85 million, the customs data showed.
