The report projects that Canadian farmers will plant roughly 3.12 million acres of yellow peas, a slight increase compared to the 3.05 million acres seeded last year.
Market analysts had anticipated little change in yellow pea acreage, making the report's findings unsurprising. Since the survey was conducted, bids to farmers have remained relatively stable. This trend indicates that actual plantings will likely adhere closely to the forecasted intentions, barring any significant shifts in land allocation to competing crops.
