NEW DELHI, Aug 12 (Commoditiescontrol): India exported 46,364 tonnes of cotton yarn in July, down 76 percent from the same period last year.
India had exported 1,91,540.79 tonens of cotton yarn in July last year.
Exports of cotton yarn during the first ten months of this cotton marketing year (October 2021 to July 2022) declined over 52 percent to 8,28,683.81 tonnes as against 17,32,894.21 tonnes during the corresponding period of the previous cotton marketing year.
Cotton marketing year runs from October to September.
