Mumbai Pulse Market Sees Uptrend in Pulse Prices

Mumbai, April 10 (Commodities Control): Mumbai pulse market has witnessed increase in tur and urad prices this morning. Similarly, matar and masoor prices also went up in the market. Here are the updates from the market:

Pigeon Pea (Tur): Lemon tur prices remained steady to trade at Rs 10,900 per quintal. Matwara variety tur prices quoted Rs 10,300 per quintal, with an increase of Rs 100. Similarly, Mozambique: Gajri prices increased by Rs 100 to quote Rs 10,400 per quintal. Mozambique: White prices increased by Rs 50 to quote Rs 10,500 per quintal. Sudan variety tur prices went up by Rs 1050 to quote Rs 11,600 per quintal.

Pea (Matar): Russian Yellow, ex Mumbai port, prices surged slightly by Rs 25 to quote Rs 4125. Canada Yellow, ex Mumbai port, prices hold steady to quote Rs 4250 per quintal. Russian Yellow, ex Hajira port, prices went up by Rs 25 to quote Rs 4125 per quintal. Canada Yellow, ex Hajira port, prices quoted Rs 4225 per quintal, with an increase of Rs 25. Russian Yellow, ex Mundra port, quoted Rs 4125 per quintal and Canada Yellow, ex Mundra Port, quoted Rs 4225 per quintal, witnessing an increase of Rs 25.

Urad: FAQ Urad prices surged by Rs 50 during the opening session of trade to quote Rs 9,350 per quintal.

Chickpea (Chana): The Sudan variety of Chana prices hold steady to quote Rs 6,500 per quintal. However, Tanzania variety chana prices surged by Rs 100 to quote Rs 5,800 per quintal.

Lentil (Masoor): The prices of Canada Masoor, ex Mundra port, increased by Rs 50 to quote Rs 6,025 per quintal. Canada Masoor, ex Hajira port, prices quoted Rs 6,075 per quintal, with an increase of Rs 50. Canada Crimson in containers prices went up by Rs 50 to quote Rs 6,250 per quintal. Australia Nipper in containers quoted Rs 5,950 per quintal, witnessing Rs 50 increase.
