Mumbai, April 10 (Commodities Control): Due to a disparity between demand and supply, the tur prices in the Solapur pulse market experienced a notable increase this morning. Meanwhile, chana prices also increased due to buying activity from millers.
The Pink variety new tur prices surged by Rs 200 to trade in the range of Rs 10,900 to Rs 11,850 per quintal.The market received 20 truckloads today, a decrease from the previous count of 25 trucks.
Turning to Chana, mill-quality Chana prices surged by Rs 50 to trade within the range of Rs 5,700 to Rs 6,000 per quintal. Similarly, Annagiri Chana prices rose by Rs 50 to quote in the range of Rs 6,000 to Rs 6,350 per quintal. Today, the market saw the arrival of 2 truckloads, matching the number recorded on the previous trading day.
