Midwest corn, soybean and winter wheat highlights 
 
West: Light mixed precipitation. Temperatures below to much below normal. 
 
East: Light rain with locally heavier. Temperatures near to above normal. 
 
Midwest corn, soybeans and winter wheat forecasts 
 
West: Light mixed precipitation Thursday. Dry weather Friday. Light to moderate 
mixed precipitation with locally heavier Saturday. Mostly dry weather 
Sunday-Tuesday. Chance mixed precipitation Wednesday. Temperatures below normal 
Thursday, near to below normal Friday-Sunday, near to above normal Monday, 
above normal Tuesday, variable Wednesday. 
 
East: Dry conditions or just a little light rain Thursday. Episodes of rain 
Friday-Saturday. Moderate to heavy totals are expected. Dry weather 
Sunday-Tuesday. Rain on Wednesday. Temperatures near to above normal Thursday, 
above to much above normal Friday-Wednesday. 
 
6 to 10 day outlook: Temperatures variable. Precipitation near to below normal 
northwest, near to above normal south and east. 
 
WORLD SOYBEAN PROSPECTS 
 
    Some disruptions to the soybean harvest in central Brazil. Favorable soil 
moisture for planting second crop corn with no end to the rainy season in sight 
at this time. Favorable conditions for filling, maturing and any early 
harvesting of soybeans in southern Brazil. 
    Dry weather in the major corn and soybeans areas of central Argentina 
continues to stress filling corn and soybeans with crop losses occurring. 
Mostly dry weather is expected in the major growing areas during the next 7 
days along with warming temperatures.
