Midwest corn, soybean and winter wheat highlights 
 
West: Dry conditions or just a little light rain.Temperatures near to below 
normal. 
 
East: Dry conditions. Temperatures near to above normal. 
 
Midwest Corn, Soybeans and Winter Wheat Forecast 
 
West: Dry weather Wednesday. Scattered light showers Thursday. Episodes of 
rain/showers/thunderstorms Friday-Saturday. Light to moderate amounts with 
locally heavier expected. Dry conditions or just a little light rain 
Sunday-Monday. Dry weather Tuesday. Temperatures below normal Wednesday, above 
to much above normal Thursday-Tuesday. 
 
East: Dry weather Wednesday-Thursday. Dry conditions or just a few light 
showers Friday. Scattered light to moderate showers and thunderstorms Saturday. 
Episodes of scattered light showers and rain Sunday-Tuesday. Temperatures below 
to much below normal Wednesday, near to below normal Thursday, above to much 
above normal Friday-Tuesday. 
 
6 to 10 day outlook...Temperatures above normal. Precipitation near to below 
normal northwest, near to above normal south and east. 
 
WORLD CORN PROSPECTS 
 
    Generally favorable conditions for the upcoming planting season across the 
Midwest. 
    Favorable conditions for developing second crop corn in central Brazil as 
the rainy season continues. 
    Drier weather favors maturing corn in central Argentina. Soil moisture is 
adequate for later filling crops. 
    Maize in South Africa should benefit from warmer temperatures and adequate 
soil moisture at this time. Maize is likely filling to maturing at this time.
