WORLD CORN PROSPECTS

Heavy rains over the weekend favored developing corn in central Argentina
except in areas of localized flooding. Additional significant rain is expected
early next week.
Early planted maize benefits from periodic showers and warm temperatures
through the eastern and central growing belt in South Africa. Increasing shower
activity will provide improving soil moisture for the ongoing planting effort
in the western belt.
