Pea sowing may rise 9% in U.S.A

MUMBAI, April 03 (Commoditiescontrol): Pea growers in the United States say they will plant 1.00 million acres in 2023, up 9% from 919,000 acres in 2022.

Planted area is expected to increase in Idaho, Montana, and North Dakota.

All classes of peas output could advance from 682,900 to 773,000 metric tons, If growers stick with their intentions and yields are average. The NASS does not break down seeded area or production between yellow and green.
