US Soybean net export sales for July 7-13 up 58 percent at 127,000 MT

NEW DELHI, July 20 (Commoditiescontrol) : US soybean net sales were at 127,000 metric tonnes (MT) for the week ended July 13 in the marketing year 2022/2023 starting September 1, up 58 percent from the previous week, but down 43 percent from the prior 4-week average.



US soybean net sales were at 80,600 MT for the week ended July 6.


Net sales were primarily for the Netherlands (65,400 MT, including 65,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), Germany (56,600 MT), Japan (20,900 MT, including 11,200 MT switched from unknown destinations), Colombia (14,800 MT, including 7,400 MT switched from unknown destinations), and Vietnam (14,200 MT), were offset by reductions for unknown destinations (78,800 MT), the Dominican Republic (600 MT), and Mexico (500 MT).


Net sales of 760,300 MT for 2023/2024 primarily for Mexico (339,100 MT), unknown destinations (229,000 MT), China (143,000 MT), Indonesia (34,800 MT), and Taiwan (16,500 MT), were offset by reductions for Japan (9,000 MT).


Exports of 240,200 MT were down 29 percent from the previous week and 15 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to the Netherlands (65,400 MT), Germany (56,600 MT), Mexico (55,600 MT), Indonesia (17,000 MT), and Japan (15,600 MT).


Optional Origin Sales: For 2022/2023, the current outstanding balance of 300 MT, all South Korea.


Export for Own Account: For 2022/2023, the current exports for own account outstanding balance of 1,800 MT are for Canada (1,400 MT) and Taiwan (400 MT).


Export Adjustments: Accumulated exports of soybeans to the Netherlands were adjusted down 56,645 MT for the week ending June 29th. The correct destination for this shipment is Germany.


Soybean Cake and Meal


Net sales of 272,500 MT for 2022/2023 were up noticeably from the previous week and from the prior 4-week average.


Increases primarily for Colombia (100,100 MT, including 21,500 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 7,500 MT), the Philippines (51,500 MT), Ireland (30,000 MT), unknown destinations (23,000 MT), and Canada (22,200 MT), were offset by reductions for Costa Rica (5,100 MT), Sri Lanka (1,600 MT), and the Dominican Republic (400 MT).


Net sales of 135,300 MT for 2023/2024 were primarily for unknown destinations (105,000 MT), Ecuador (10,000 MT), Panama (6,100 MT), Costa Rica (5,100 MT), and Mexico (4,700 MT).


Exports of 230,800 MT were down 1 percent from the previous week and 10 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to the Philippines (49,300 MT), Colombia (33,000 MT), Ecuador (31,100 MT), Canada (22,700 MT), and the Dominican Republic (21,400 MT).


Soybean Oil


Total net sales reductions of 800 MT for 2022/2023 were down noticeably from the previous week and down 23 percent from the prior 4-week average. Decreases were for Canada. Exports of 1,000 MT were up 11 percent from the previous week, but down 39 percent from the prior 4-week average.


The destinations were to Canada (500 MT) and Mexico (500 MT).
