Australia's Masoor Production to Drop 36% to 9.06 Lk Tonnes

MUMBAI, 7 June (Commoditiescontrol) - According to the latest forecast in the June 2023 crop report by the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences (ABARES), Australia is expected to see a 36% decrease in Masoor production. The forecasted production of Masoor for the year 2023-24 is estimated to be 9.06 Lk Tonnes.

In contrast, the forecast indicates a slight increase of 0.55% in Chickpea production. The projected production of Chickpea for the same period is expected to reach 5.44 Lk Tonnes.
