FCI Holds 2.06 Lakh Tonnes Pulses Procured During KMS 2016-17

MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) – Food Corporation of India (FCI) has offloaded only 5,274.79 metric tonne (MT) of Tur as on January 4, 2018 from 175,352.08 MT procured during Kharif marketing season (KMS 2016-17), said the agency.

The agency is still holding around 170,077.29 MT of Tur.

FCI have also 16,411.67 MT of Urad and 20,117.84 MT of Moong. It has so far liquidated 1825.28 MT and 4,4634.27 MT Urad and Moong respectively.
