Mumbai, 13 Oct (Commoditiescontrol): As of September 1, 2023, domestic port and pipeline stocks of edible oils amounted to 37.35 lakh tons. This coincided with an uptick in per capita consumption, driven by the recent decrease in domestic edible oil prices.

While the official figures for October 1, 2023, are currently under compilation, initial estimates indicate a reduction in stocks to approximately 35.0 lakh tons.
