Mumbai, April 12 (CommoditiesControl): Clove prices maintained stability in the domestic markets. In Kottayam, imported clove prices have held steady, with Comoros cloves ranging from Rs. 840 to Rs. 860 per kilogram, Madagascar cloves from Rs. 850 to Rs. 870, and Sri Lankan origin cloves priced between Rs. 850 to Rs. 880 per kilogram.
Meanwhile, domestic clove prices in Kottayam have stabilized after experiencing declines in the previous 2-3 sessions. They are currently trading at Rs. 880 to Rs. 900 per kilogram. This stabilization in prices is attributed to increased supply, primarily increased by higher import volumes.
In Shimoga, prices have remained unchanged from the previous session, with clove prices per kilogram holding steady between Rs. 900 and Rs. 920. Similarly, clove stems in Kottayam have maintained their previous pricing at Rs. 125 per kilogram.
