Mumbai, April 10 (CommoditiesControl): Clove prices continue to maintain stability in the market, with both imported and domestic varieties exhibiting consistent trends.
In Kottayam, imported clove prices remain steady, with Comoros cloves trading in the range of Rs. 840 to Rs. 860 per kilogram, Madagascar cloves at Rs. 850 to Rs. 870, and Sri Lankan origin cloves at Rs. 850 to Rs. 880 per kilogram. Meanwhile, domestic clove prices in the Kottayam market were reported to be stable, hovering between Rs. 880 and Rs. 900 per kilogram. This stability in domestic prices can be attributed to increased supply resulting from higher imports, influencing market dynamics.
In Shimoga, prices per kilogram remain unchanged from the previous session, ranging between Rs. 900 and Rs. 920. Additionally, clove stems were priced at Rs. 125 per kilogram in Kottayam, maintaining parity with the previous session.
