Mumbai, April 8 (CommoditiesControl): Clove prices have shown steady trend, maintaining consistency in recent trading sessions. In Kottayam, imported clove prices remained stable, with Comoros-origin cloves trading between Rs. 840 to Rs. 860 per kilogram, Madagascar-origin cloves fetching Rs. 850 to Rs. 870 per kilogram, and Sri Lankan cloves priced at Rs. 850 to Rs. 880 per kilogram.
Domestic clove prices in Kottayam have stabilized after experiencing declines in the previous 2-3 sessions. Currently, they are trading between Rs. 880 and Rs. 900 per kilogram. The stabilization of domestic prices can be attributed to increased supply resulting from higher imports into the market.
In Shimoga, clove prices remain unchanged from the previous session, with prices ranging between Rs. 900 and Rs. 920 per kilogram. Similarly, the price of clove stems in Kottayam remains consistent at Rs. 125 per kilogram, matching the rates of the previous session.
