Cotton Arrivals of 58,200 Bales Noted Across Major Producing States

New Delhi, April 8 (Commodities Control): The cotton arrivals in the markets of major producing states across the country totaled 58,200 bales on Monday, witnessing a slight decrease from the previous trading day's figure of 59,500 bales.

In Punjab, Haryana, Upper Rajasthan, and Lower Rajasthan combined, 5,000 bales were reported. Gujarat recorded arrivals of 19,000 bales, while Maharashtra saw 25,000 bales entering the market. Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh-Telangana each recorded arrivals of 3,500 bales. Additionally, 100 bales arrived in Tamil Nadu, 2,000 bales in Karnataka mandis, and 100 bales in Odisha.
