New Delhi, April 4 (Commodities Control): The cotton markets in major producing states of the country witnessed a consistent arrival of arrivals on Thursday, with a total of 61,200 bales recorded, slightly higher than the previous trading day's tally of 60,600 bales.
Breaking down the arrivals by region, Punjab and Haryana, alongside Upper and Lower Rajasthan, contributed 4,600 bales to the total. Gujarat saw arrivals of 20,000 bales, while Maharashtra recorded 25,000 bales. In Madhya Pradesh, 3,300 bales arrived, and Andhra Pradesh-Telangana reported 5,000 bales. Additionally, Tamil Nadu saw 200 bales, Karnataka recorded 3,000 bales, and Odisha received 100 bales.
