New Delhi, March 26 (Commodities Control): The cotton arrival in the markets of major producing states of the country on Tuesday totaled 45,600 bales, marking a notable decrease from the previous trading day's figure of 65,300 bales.
Breaking down the arrivals by region, Punjab and Haryana, along with Upper and Lower Rajasthan, accounted for 8,300 bales. Gujarat reported no arrivals, while Maharashtra saw the arrival of 25,000 bales. In Madhya Pradesh, 3,000 bales arrived, while Andhra Pradesh-Telangana reported 5,000 bales. Additionally, Tamil Nadu witnessed the arrival of 200 bales, Karnataka recorded 4,000 bales in its mandis, and Odisha reported 100 bales.
