New Delhi, March 23 (Commodities Control): The arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states of the country on Saturday totaled 65,300 bales, marking a slight decrease from the 73,200 bales recorded on the previous trading day.
Of the total arrivals, 7,500 bales were reported in Punjab and Haryana, including Upper and Lower Rajasthan. Gujarat witnessed the arrival of 18,000 bales, while Maharashtra recorded 25,000 bales. In Madhya Pradesh, 3,500 bales of cotton arrived, while Andhra Pradesh-Telangana saw the arrival of 6,000 bales. Additionally, Tamil Nadu received 200 bales, Karnataka mandis received 5,000 bales, and Odisha recorded 100 bales.
