New Delhi, March 22 (Commodities Control): On Friday, the arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states of the country was reported at 73,200 bales, marking a slight decrease from the previous trading session when the arrival stood at 81,400 bales.
Breaking down the total arrivals, 8,500 bales were reported in Punjab and Haryana, as well as Upper and Lower Rajasthan. Gujarat witnessed arrivals of 23,000 bales, while Maharashtra recorded 26,000 bales. In Madhya Pradesh, arrivals totaled 4,500 bales, while Andhra Pradesh-Telangana reported 6,000 bales. Additionally, 100 bales arrived in Tamil Nadu, 5,000 bales in Karnataka, and 100 bales in Odisha.
