New Delhi, March 20 (Commodities Control): On Wednesday, the arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states across the country reached 82,800 bales. This figure represents a slight increase from the previous trading day's arrival of 80,700 bales.
Breaking down the arrivals by state, Punjab, Haryana, Upper and Lower Rajasthan collectively received 8,800 bales. Gujarat saw the arrival of 25,000 bales, while Maharashtra received 30,000 bales. Additionally, Madhya Pradesh witnessed the arrival of 5,500 bales, while Andhra Pradesh and Telangana collectively received 6,000 bales. Tamil Nadu received 200 bales, Karnataka received 7,000 bales, and Odisha received 100 bales.
