New Delhi, March 19 (Commodities Control)* - The arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states across the country on Tuesday amounted to 80,700 bales, representing a slight decrease from the previous working day's arrival of 87,600 bales.
Breaking down the total arrivals, 8,800 bales were reported in Punjab and Haryana, as well as Upper and Lower Rajasthan. Gujarat saw the arrival of 25,000 bales, while Maharashtra recorded 30,000 bales. Additionally, 5,000 bales arrived in Madhya Pradesh, and 6,500 bales were reported in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana. Furthermore, Tamil Nadu received 300 bales, Karnataka witnessed the arrival of 5,000 bales in its mandis, and Odisha saw the arrival of 100 bales.
