New Delhi, March 12 (Commodities Control): On Tuesday, the arrival of cotton in the key producing states of India reached a total of 83,800 bales, showing a slight increase compared to the previous trading day's arrival of 80,900 bales.
Breaking down the arrivals by state, Punjab, Haryana, Upper, and Lower Rajasthan collectively received 10,500 bales. Gujarat recorded arrivals of 24,000 bales, while Maharashtra saw the arrival of 30,000 bales into its mandis. In Madhya Pradesh, 4,500 bales arrived, and Andhra Pradesh-Telangana collectively reported 8,000 bales.
Other states with cotton arrivals included Tamil Nadu, where 400 bales were recorded, Karnataka with 6,000 bales in its mandis, and Odisha with 400 bales.
