Major Producing States Receive 80,900 Cotton Bales

New Delhi, March 11 (Commodities Control) The arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states of the country on Monday was 80,900 bales, whereas the arrival on the previous trading day was 72,800 bales.

Of the total arrivals, 11,000 bales arrived in Punjab and Haryana and Upper and Lower Rajasthan. Arrivals of 25,000 bales were recorded in Gujarat, 25,000 bales in Maharashtra, 5,000 bales in Madhya Pradesh and 8,000 bales in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana. Apart from this, 500 bales arrived in Tamil Nadu, 6,000 bales in Karnataka mandis and 400 bales in Odisha.
