Mumbai, April 15 (Commodities Control): Tur prices declined today in Solapur pulse market as buyers showed little interest, while sellers remained active. However, chana prices rose today as millers were actively responding to robust demand in dal.
The Pink variety new tur prices declined by Rs 100 to trade in the range of Rs 10,900 to Rs 11,600 per quintal. The market received 30 truckloads today, while 25 trucks arrived on the previous trading day.
Turning to Chana, mill-quality Chana prices surged by Rs 100 to trade within the range of Rs 5,900 to Rs 6,350 per quintal. Similarly, Annagiri Chana prices rose by Rs 100 to quote in the range of Rs 6,000 to Rs 6,800 per quintal. Today, the market saw the arrival of 3 truckloads, matching the figure from the previous trading day.
