Mumbai, April 04 (Commodities Control): Mumbai pulse market has witnessed increase in tur and urad prices this morning. Meanwhile, change in matar prices was also noted. Here are the updates from the market:
Pigeon Pea (Tur): Lemon tur prices surged by Rs 50 to trade at Rs 10,550 per quintal. Matwara variety tur prices increased by Rs 200 to quote Rs 9,700 per quintal. Mozambique: Gajri also went up by Rs 200 to quote Rs 9,700 per quintal, while Mozambique: White prices quoted Rs 9,900 per quintal, with an increase of Rs 100. Sudan variety tur prices hold steady to quote Rs 10,700 per quintal.
Pea (Matar): Russian Yellow, ex Mumbai port, prices rose slightly by Rs 25 to quote Rs 4100. Canada Yellow, ex Mumbai port, prices increased by Rs 50 to quote Rs 4300/4325 per quintal. Russian Yellow, ex Hajira port, prices surged hold steady to quote Rs 4100 per quintal. Canada Yellow, ex Hajira port, prices quoted Rs 4225 per quintal, with an increase of Rs 25. Russian Yellow, ex Mundra port, quoted Rs 4050/4075 per quintal, without any change in prices. Similarly, Canada Yellow, ex Mundra Port, remained consistent to quote Rs 4200 per quintal.
Urad: FAQ Urad prices surged by Rs 50 during the opening session of trade to quote Rs 9,150 per quintal.
Chickpea (Chana): The Sudan variety of Chana prices hold steady to quote Rs 6,500 per quintal. However, Tanzania variety chana prices surged by Rs 150 to quote Rs 5,700 per quintal.
Lentil (Masoor): The prices of Canada Masoor, ex Mundra port, surged slightly by Rs 25 to quote Rs 6,000 per quintal. Canada Masoor, ex Hajira port, prices quoted Rs 6,050 per quintal, with an increase of Rs 25. Canada Crimson in containers prices went up by Rs 25 to quote Rs 6,200 per quintal. Australia Nipper in containers quoted Rs 5,900 per quintal.
