Mumbai,03 Apr 2024 (Commoditiescontrol):Kabuli Chana prices displayed a mixed trend across Indian markets. Indore and surrounding mandis maintained stable prices despite increased arrivals. Conversely, Delhi reported higher prices for PKV-2 and Mexican varieties, likely due to constrained supply.
Indore mandis witnessed arrivals of 5,000 bags, suggesting a resurgence in trading activity. Across Madhya Pradesh's Kabuli growing regions, arrivals are estimated between 25,000-30,000 bags, marking a 10,000-bag increase compared to the previous trading session.
However, container prices experienced a decline of Rs 100 per quintal, attributed to reduced interest from stockists and exporters.
Market analysts anticipate Kabuli prices to remain range-bound in the short term, as ongoing arrivals and demand appear to be in relative equilibrium.
