Mumbai, April 10 (Commodities Control): The Indian soybean market is witnessing a significant decrease in arrivals, a trend attributed to robust demand for soybean oil.
Total soybean arrivals across the country have reached 170,000 bags, with Madhya Pradesh, the leading soybean producer, contributing 50,000 bags. Maharashtra reported a substantial arrival of 100,000 bags, while Rajasthan reported 10,000 bags. The remaining states collectively accounted for an additional 10,000 bags in cumulative arrivals.
Market dynamics have led to varied soybean prices across different regions. In Madhya Pradesh, prices ranged from Rs 4,650 to Rs 4,800 per quintal. Maharashtra observed price fluctuations, hovering between Rs 4,650 and Rs 4,800 per quintal, while Rajasthan reported prices ranging from Rs 4,700 to Rs 4,800 per quintal.
Soybean plant prices have also shown variability. Madhya Pradesh reported prices in the range of Rs 4,850 to Rs 4,925 per quintal. Maharashtra witnessed fluctuating plant prices, ranging between Rs 4,850 and Rs 4,925 per quintal. Rajasthan's plant prices were recorded in the range of Rs 4,850 to Rs 4,900 per quintal.
