Mumbai, April 6 (Commodities Control) - The Indian soybean market is witnessing a notable decrease in arrivals, attributed to the increasing plant rates.
Total soybean arrivals across the country have reached 180,000 bags, with Madhya Pradesh, the leading soybean producer, contributing 60,000 bags. Maharashtra reported a substantial arrival of 100,000 bags, while Rajasthan reported 10,000 bags. The remaining states collectively accounted for an additional 10,000 bags in cumulative arrivals.
Soybean prices in various mandis have shown regional variations. In Madhya Pradesh, prices ranged from Rs 4,500 to Rs 4,650 per quintal. Maharashtra observed price fluctuations, with rates ranging from Rs 4,450 to Rs 4,650 per quintal, while Rajasthan reported prices between Rs 4,550 to Rs 4,650 per quintal.
Soybean plant prices also displayed variability. In Madhya Pradesh, prices ranged from Rs 4,675 to Rs 4,800 per quintal. Maharashtra reported plant prices fluctuating between Rs 4,650 and Rs 4,800 per quintal, while in Rajasthan, prices were recorded in the range of Rs 4,700 to Rs 4,750 per quintal.
