Jaipur, 29 March (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard seed complex continued to see firmer tone for a third straight session on Monday amid improved demand and weak arrivals. Positive cues from the international edible oil market also bolstered buying sentiment.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned rose Rs 50 to Rs 5,550-5575 per quintal kachchi (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices gained Rs 10 to Rs 1040-1041 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices also rose Rs 10 to 1050-1051 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices gained Rs 25 to Rs 2545-2550 per quintal in Jaipur.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 6 lakh bags across the country. Arrivals of mustard seed were around 3.5 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 55000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 60000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 60000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 20,000 bags in Gujarat. The major markets of states received around 55000 bags of mustard seed.
At Kandla port, CPO prices were quoted Rs 5 up at Rs 906 per 10kg and RBD palmolein prices gained Rs 10 to Rs 950 per 10 kg. Soyoil refine prices were diwn Rs 5 to Rs 935 per 10 kg. Degum prices were Rs 5 up at Rs 880 per 10 kg. Sunflower refine oil prices were quoted Rs 5 higher at Rs 955 per 10 kg.
