Jaipur, 13 March (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard seed complex continued its bullish trend on Wednesday. Prices of mustard seed and oil extended their gains for and cake prices were also firm today amid strong buying support. Mustard seed prices rose sharply despite high arrivals as the processors and the stockiest increased their buying.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned gained Rs 50 to Rs 5,450-5475 per quintal kachchi (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices rose Rs 6 to Rs 1027-1028 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices were also gained Rs 6 to 1037-1038 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices surged Rs 5 to Rs 2480-2485 per quintal in Jaipur.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 14 lakh bags across the country, Up one lakh bags from last session. Arrivals of mustard seed were around 7.25 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 1.75 lakh bags in Madhya Pradesh, 1.75 lakh bags in Uttar Pradesh, 75,000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 65,000 bags in Gujarat. The major markets of states received around 1.85 lakh bags of mustard seed.
At Kandla port, CPO prices were quoted Rs 10 higher at Rs 911 per 10kg and RBD palmolein prices gained Rs 5 to Rs 950 per 10 kg. Soyoil refine prices rose Rs 5 to Rs 1000 per 10 kg. Degum prices gained Rs 8 to Rs 940 per 10 kg. Sunflower refine oil prices were quoted Rs 20 higher at Rs 990 per 10 kg.
