Mumbai, March 11 (Commodities Control) - The Indian soybean market has seen a notable increase in arrivals, with total arrivals reaching 225,000 bags across the country. This increase is attributed to a rise in plant rates.
Madhya Pradesh, the leading soybean producer in India, contributed 110,000 bags to the total arrivals, while Maharashtra reported a substantial arrival of 125,000 bags. Rajasthan reported 10,000 bags, with the remaining states collectively accounting for an additional 10,000 bags in cumulative arrivals.
Soybean prices have varied across different mandis in the country. In Madhya Pradesh, prices ranged from Rs 4,400 to Rs 4,550 per quintal. Maharashtra witnessed price fluctuations, with prices hovering between Rs 4,400 and Rs 4,550 per quintal, while Rajasthan reported prices ranging from Rs 4,400 to Rs 4,500 per quintal.
Plant prices for soybeans also showed variability. In Madhya Pradesh, plant prices were in the range of Rs 4,525 to Rs 4,650 per quintal. Maharashtra saw plant prices fluctuating between Rs 4,600 and Rs 4,700 per quintal, while Rajasthan reported plant prices in the range of Rs 4,550 to Rs 4,625 per quintal.
