Mumbai, June 24 (Commodities Control): Clove prices have remained stable for the fourth consecutive session in the Kottayam market. Current prices per kilogram are as follows: Comoros origin cloves are priced between Rs 890-920, Madagascar cloves range from Rs 910-930, and Sri Lankan cloves are between Rs 900-930. Domestic clove prices in Kottayam are slightly higher, ranging from Rs 1,020 to Rs 1,040 per kilogram.
Similarly, in Shimoga, clove prices have also held steady from the previous session, ranging between Rs 1,040 and Rs 1,060 per kilogram. The price of clove stems in Kottayam remains unchanged at Rs 130 per kilogram.
This period of stability in clove prices is reflective of balanced market conditions, with neither significant supply disruptions nor demand spikes influencing price movements. Traders and consumers can expect this trend to continue in the short term unless there are sudden changes in market trends.
