Cotton Arrival Across Major Producing States Sees Decline

New Delhi, May 10 (Commodities Control): The arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states of the country on Friday amounted to 33,100 bales, marking a slight decrease from the previous trading day's arrival of 35,600 bales.

In Punjab and Haryana, along with Upper and Lower Rajasthan, a total of 1,400 bales arrived. Gujarat witnessed arrivals of 7,000 bales, while Maharashtra recorded arrivals of 20,000 bales. In Madhya Pradesh, 600 bales were reported, and Andhra Pradesh-Telangana collectively saw arrivals of 2,500 bales.

Additionally, Tamil Nadu received 100 bales, Karnataka mandis welcomed 2,000 bales, while Odisha recorded no arrivals.
