Arrival of 33,350 Bales of Cotton Recorded in Major Producing States Across India

New Delhi, May 6 (Commodities Control): The arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states of the country on Monday reached 33,350 bales, slightly surpassing the figure of 33,050 bales recorded on the previous trading day.

Breaking down the total arrivals, Punjab, Haryana, Upper Rajasthan, and Lower Rajasthan collectively received 1,350 bales. Gujarat witnessed the arrival of 8,000 bales, while Maharashtra recorded 18,000 bales.

Additionally, Madhya Pradesh saw the arrival of 1,800 bales, and Andhra Pradesh-Telangana received 2,500 bales. Furthermore, Tamil Nadu reported the arrival of 200 bales, Karnataka recorded 1,500 bales, while Odisha reported no arrivals.
