Indian Soybean Arrivals Surge with Stable Plant Rates

Mumbai, May 06 (Commodities Control) - The Indian soybean market is witnessing a notable surge in arrivals, attributed to the stability in plant rates.

Nationwide soybean arrivals have peaked at 225,000 bags, with Madhya Pradesh, the leading soybean producer, contributing 100,000 bags. Maharashtra follows closely with 100,000 bags, while Rajasthan reported 13,000 bags. The remaining states collectively accounted for an additional 12,000 bags in cumulative arrivals.


Various mandis across the country have observed fluctuations in soybean prices, reflecting regional dynamics. In Madhya Pradesh, prices ranged from Rs 4,500 to Rs 4,725 per quintal. Maharashtra saw prices fluctuating between Rs 4,450 and Rs 4,700 per quintal, while Rajasthan reported prices ranging from Rs 4,550 to Rs 4,700 per quintal.



Plant prices for soybean also exhibited variability. In Madhya Pradesh, prices ranged from Rs 4,725 to Rs 4,825 per quintal. Maharashtra experienced fluctuations between Rs 4,700 and Rs 4,800 per quintal, while Rajasthan reported prices in the range of Rs 4,725 to Rs 4,775 per quintal.
