Cotton Arrival of 33,050 Bales Noted in Major Indian States

New Delhi, May 4 (Commodities Control): The arrival of cotton across major producing states in India on Saturday amounted to 33,050 bales, slightly lower than the previous trading day's figure of 35,850 bales.

Notable arrivals were observed in Maharashtra with 18,000 bales, Gujarat with 8,000 bales, and Andhra Pradesh-Telangana with 2,500 bales. Punjab, Haryana, Upper, and Lower Rajasthan collectively contributed 1,350 bales, while Madhya Pradesh saw arrivals of 1,600 bales.

Tamil Nadu and Karnataka witnessed arrivals of 100 bales and 1,500 bales, respectively, while there were no arrivals reported in Odisha.
