Significant Cotton Arrival of 35,850 Bales Across Major Producing States

New Delhi, May 3 (Commodities Control): The cotton arrival in the markets of major producing states of the country on Friday totaled 35,850 bales, marking a notable increase compared to the previous trading day's arrival of 34,150 bales.

Of the total arrivals, Punjab and Haryana along with Upper and Lower Rajasthan accounted for 1,450 bales. 8,000 bales arrived in Gujarat, 20,000 bales in Maharashtra, 1,800 bales in Madhya Pradesh and 2,500 bales in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana. Apart from this, 100 bales arrived in Tamil Nadu, 2,000 bales in Karnataka mandis, and 0 bales in Odisha.
