Mumbai, April 25 (CommoditiesControl): Groundnut prices have remained steady today attributed to a decline in the market price of groundnut cake, stemming from reduced demand amid prevailing weather conditions. Traders in Gondal report that the price of groundnut cake has decreased to approximately Rs 31,000 per quintal due to heightened demand for soya cake and warmer temperatures. Presently, the trading volume of peanuts is constrained, with traders anticipating the arrival of summer peanuts in the near future.
In Gondal Mandi, approximately 14,120 sacks (1 sack = 35kg) were recorded today, with prices ranging between Rs 1201-1411 for average quality and Rs 1226-1356 for the best quality per 20 kg.
