Jaipur, 26 April (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard seed complex saw mixed tone amid weak activities as the country went to poll for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections. Prices of mustard seed were flat, while oil prices remained steady to down while cake prices were quoted steady to firm today. Imported edible oils were quoted higher on Indian ports.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned were flat at Rs 5,375-5400 per quintal (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices dropped Re 1 to Rs 994-995 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices also dropped Re 1 to 1004-1005 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices gained Rs 5 to Rs 2520-2525 per quintal in Jaipur.
Prices of mustard seed stayed steady Rs 5150-5200 per quintal in the markets of Delhi. Mustard oil expeller also traded flat at Rs 985 per 10 kg in the markets of national capital. In the markets of Charkhi Dadri, prices of mustard seed were steady at Rs 5125-5175 per quintal. Mustard oil expeller stayed unchanged at Rs 975 per 10kg and mustard cake prices at Rs 2465 per quintal in Charkhi Dadri.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 5 lakh bags across the country, down 2.25 lakh bags from the last session. Arrivals of mustard seed were around 2.25 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 50,000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 60,000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 35,000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 20,000 bags in Gujarat. The major markets of states received around 85,000 bags of mustard seed.
At Kandla port, CPO prices were quoted Rs 5 up at Rs 883 per 10kg and RBD palmolein prices gained Rs 5 to Rs 915 per 10 kg. Soyoil refine prices rose Rs 5 to Rs 915 per 10 kg. Degum prices were quoted Rs 3 up at Rs 835 per 10 kg. Sunflower refine oil prices were steady at Rs 925 per 10 kg.
