Mumbai, April 22 (Commoditiescontrol): Clove prices continue to maintain stability across various markets, reflecting consistent trading patterns in recent sessions.
In Kottayam, imported clove prices exhibited steadiness, with Comoros-origin cloves trading between Rs. 840 and Rs. 860 per kilogram, Madagascar-origin cloves priced at Rs. 850 to Rs. 870 per kilogram, and Sri Lankan origin cloves ranging from Rs. 850 to Rs. 880 per kilogram.
Meanwhile, domestic clove prices in Kottayam have remained unchanged over the past 7-8 sessions, hovering between Rs. 880 and Rs. 900 per kilogram. The influx of higher import volumes has contributed to increased supply, thereby exerting influence on domestic market prices.
Similarly, in Shimoga, clove prices remained consistent with the previous session, maintaining a price range of Rs. 900 to Rs. 920 per kilogram. Additionally, clove stems retained their previous pricing at Rs. 125 per kilogram in Kottayam.
