Cotton Arrivals of 44,600 Bales Noted in Major Producing States

New Delhi, April 22 (Commodities Control): Cotton arrivals in the markets of major producing states of the country on Monday amounted to 44,600 bales, marking a slight increase from the previous trading day's arrivals of 43,700 bales.

Out of the total arrivals, Punjab, Haryana, Upper, and Lower Rajasthan collectively recorded the arrival of 2,400 bales. Gujarat witnessed the arrival of 15,000 bales, while Maharashtra saw 20,000 bales entering its markets. Madhya Pradesh recorded 2,000 bales, while Andhra Pradesh and Telangana together saw the arrival of 3,000 bales.

Additionally, Tamil Nadu recorded the arrival of 200 bales, Karnataka witnessed 2,000 bales entering its markets, while Odisha reported no arrivals.
