Mumbai, April 19 (Commoditiescontrol): Sovecon, a prominent Russian agricultural consultancy, has lowered its expectations for the country's 2024 wheat harvest.

The revised forecast predicts a yield of 93 million metric tons, a decrease from the 94 million tons anticipated in late March.

This revision marks the first time Sovecon has decreased its crop forecast for the current season.
