New Delhi, April 11 (Commodities Control): The arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states of the country witnessed a decline on Thursday, with total arrivals reported at 41,400 bales. This marked a decrease from the 53,300 bales recorded on the previous trading day.
Of the total arrivals, 4,600 bales arrived in Punjab and Haryana along with Upper and Lower Rajasthan. Arrivals of 10,000 bales were recorded in Gujarat, 20,000 bales in Maharashtra, 1,200 bales in Madhya Pradesh and 3,500 bales in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana.
Additionally, arrivals of 2,000 bales were reported in Karnataka mandis, while Tamil Nadu and Odisha saw no arrivals.
