Mumbai, April 3 (CommoditiesControl): Clove prices have maintained stability for the second consecutive session, reflecting consistent market conditions.

In Kottayam, imported clove prices remained steady within the range of Rs. 840 to Rs. 860 per kilogram for Comoros origin, Rs. 850 to Rs. 870 for Madagascar origin, and Rs. 850 to Rs. 880 for Sri Lankan origin. Domestic clove prices in Kottayam also reported stability after experiencing declines in the previous 2-3 sessions, trading between Rs. 880 to Rs. 900 per kg. The market has observed higher supply levels due to increased imports, which have exerted pressure on domestic prices.

Meanwhile, in Shimoga, prices per kilogram have remained unchanged compared to the previous session, ranging between Rs. 900 and Rs. 920. Additionally, clove stems maintained a price of Rs. 125 per kilogram in Kottayam, consistent with the rates seen in the previous session.
