Jodhpur, March 29 (Commoditiescontrol): Guar seed and gum prices exhibited stability in the spot market today, maintaining previous levels, while future trading remained closed due to Good Friday, observed as a public holiday.
Market sources reported that the average price range for guar seed in auctions hovered between Rs 4600 to Rs 4850 per quintal. Today's arrivals of guar seed stood at around 8,000 bags.
In all paid transactions, guar seed prices were quoted at Rs 5030 per quintal. Meanwhile, in the benchmark market of Jodhpur, guar gum prices remained stable at Rs 10,000 per quintal.
The closure of future trading on account of Good Friday did not influence spot market sentiment, as guar seed and gum prices maintained equilibrium.
Market participants are closely monitoring developments in the guar seed and gum market, particularly amid the ongoing closure of future trading.
