Jaipur, 29 March (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard seed complex saw firm trend tracking upward movement in the prices of imported edible oils. Prices of mustard seed, oil and cake were quoted higher on Friday. However, demand from the processors and the stockiest were limited.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned rose Rs 25 to Rs 5,475-5500 per quintal kachchi (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices gained Rs 8 to Rs 1024-1025 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices also rose Rs 8 to 1034-1035 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices gained Rs 5 to Rs 2500-2505 per quintal in Jaipur.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 7.25 lakh bags across the country. Arrivals of mustard seed were around 4.25 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 65000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 70000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 60000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 20,000 bags in Gujarat. The major markets of states received around 85000 bags of mustard seed.
At Kandla port, CPO prices were quoted Rs 5 up at Rs 906 per 10kg and RBD palmolein prices gained Rs 15 to Rs 930 per 10 kg. Soyoil refine prices were also gained Rs 5 to Rs 935 per 10 kg. Degum prices were flat at Rs 965 per 10 kg. Sunflower refine oil prices were quoted Rs 5 higher at Rs 940 per 10 kg.
