Jaipur, 27 Feb (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard seed prices and cake prices dropped on Tuesday but oil prices extended. As per the traders, oil prices rose tracking firm trend in the international edible oil market.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned were down Rs 50 to Rs 5,325-5350 per quintal kachchi (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices gained Rs 4 to Rs 987-988 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices also rose Rs 4 to 997-998 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices dropped Rs 15 to Rs 2520-2525 per quintal in Jaipur.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 7.5 lakh bags across the country, down 50,000 bags from last session. Arrivals of mustard seed were around 3.15 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 85,000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 90,000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 15,000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 55,000 bags in Gujarat. The major markets of states received around 1.15 lakh bags of mustard seed. Arrivals of old crop were around 75000 bags today.
At Kandla port, CPO prices stayed fell Rs 9 to Rs 836 per 10kg and RBD palmolein prices were flat at Rs 870 per 10 kg. Soyoil refine prices dropped Rs 10 to Rs 935 per 10 kg. Degum prices fell Rs 10 to Rs 865 per 10 kg. Sunflower refine oil prices were flat at Rs 910 per 10 kg.
