New Delhi, Feb 15 (Commoditiescontrol): Mentha oil prices exhibited stability in the spot market today, largely due to subdued buying activity. Market analysts have noted that the demand for mentha oil continues to remain weak, contributing to the overall stability in prices.
In Chandausi market, mentha oil prices remained flat trend, quoting at Rs 986-988 per kg. Similarly, in the Barabanki market, prices held steady at Rs 958 per kg.
Mentha Oil contract for FEB delivery settled at Rs 911/quintal showing an rise of Rs 1.3 over previous close of Rs 909.7/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 905.6-911.5 for the day. Open interest decreased by -8 MT to 816 MT, while trading volume decreased by -1 to 33 MT.
Mentha Oil contract for MAR delivery settled at Rs 919/quintal showing an fall of Rs -2.1 over previous close of Rs 921.1/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 915.7-919 for the day. Open interest increased by 7 MT to 54 MT, while trading volume increased by 2 to 12 MT.
Mentha Oil contract for MAR delivery settled at Rs 919/quintal showing an fall of Rs -2.1 over previous close of Rs 921.1/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 915.7-919 for the day. Open interest increased by 7 MT to 54 MT, while trading volume increased by 2 to 12 MT.
